About The Position

The District Manager is accountable for the performance of the Restaurant Management Teams in the district and ensures that each team fulfills its responsibilities and meets job expectations. The role oversees guest satisfaction, restaurant standards, management training and development, business performance, marketing support, legal and policy compliance, vendor contracts, and food safety across the district. The position requires regular travel to assigned store locations and involves working in restaurant environments.

Requirements

7–10 years of previous restaurant experience.
3–5 years in management positions.
Financial planning aptitude, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and P&L management.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to assigned store locations 4–5 days per week.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with others as a team.
Ability to meet performance standards.
Ability to take initiative and solve problems.
Must be at least 18 years old, or an emancipated minor with documentation.

Nice To Haves

Multi-unit restaurant management experience, preferably including full-service, fast food, or convenience businesses.

Responsibilities

Ensure district Team Members are trained, motivated, and empowered to deliver total Guest satisfaction.
Evaluate each restaurant’s QSC standards; provide regular feedback and coaching, and conduct periodic restaurant inspections.
Communicate customer comments and concerns to the appropriate Restaurant Manager and follow up to ensure timely, effective handling.
Ensure General Managers and GMITs receive appropriate orientation, training, and development opportunities.
Train, coach, and provide regular positive and corrective performance feedback to Team Members.
Evaluate General Managers’ and GMITs’ performance against clearly communicated standards and expectations.
Provide appropriate and effective counseling and discipline.
Train and follow up on new products, programs, and changes.
Recruit General Managers and GMITs, prepare Team Members for promotion, and match managers’ skills and abilities to restaurant needs.
Analyze business performance and initiate corrective actions when results deviate from financial expectations.
Support company-wide marketing programs and evaluate local restaurant marketing strategies developed by the Marketing Department.
Ensure business and personnel practices comply with the law and company policies and procedures.
Model positive conduct in all aspects of business and personnel management.
Negotiate district vendor contracts and follow the company contract approval process.
Uphold food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements to protect Guests and Team Members.
