About The Position

The District Manager oversees daily route operations, delivery performance, customer service, and service team members to ensure efficient, high-quality service. The position reports directly to the Service Manager and is responsible for the execution and productivity of delivery and service routes, team leadership, customer issue resolution, and enforcement of safety and operational procedures. The role involves frequent travel within the branch area to customer sites and operating vehicles on public roads, as well as working in customer locations and industrial laundry facility, Service Center, or depot loading areas.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership.
At least 1 year of direct leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
Valid driver's license and a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety, or other violations.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to recognize colors, sizes, and types of products and count, add, and subtract accurately.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily execution of delivery and service routes to ensure accurate and efficient customer service.
Manage route schedules, territory coverage, and workload distribution to maximize route productivity.
Lead, coach, and develop route drivers and service team members to drive performance and accountability.
Ensure consistent customer service and respond to escalated customer concerns, service issues, and delivery challenges.
Promote and enforce company safety policies, applicable DOT regulations, and operational procedures.
