About The Position

National Property Management Associates, Inc. is looking for an experienced and results-driven District Manager to oversee the operations of 10 residential apartment communities and 1 commercial property totaling 1,152 units in the Western New York area. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing asset performance, and leading on-site teams to deliver high-quality property management services. The ideal candidate will have a progressive background in property management and must have excellent leadership skills along with the ability to manage employees at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

3-5 years of experience in property management, with multi-site experience managing large portfolios
Proven leadership and team management experience
Strong financial and analytical skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multi-task various duties
Strong understanding of leasing, marketing, and maintenance operations
Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the district

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field
CAM, CPM, or similar professional certifications
Knowledge of property management software (MRI and Nexus)

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of properties within the assigned district
Manage and support Property Managers
Ensure properties meet financial goals, including revenue growth and expense control
Analyze financial reports, budgets, and performance metrics
Maintain high occupancy rates and resident satisfaction
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Conduct regular site visits and property inspections
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve property performance
Resolve escalated tenant/resident issues professionally and efficiently
