About The Position

The District Manager, Stores will be responsible for creating an exciting and engaging environment by upholding the company's vision and standards. This role involves generating new ideas to improve store experience, training and managing associates to engage with customers and drive sales, and staying informed on new products. The District Manager will lead and execute company management initiatives to develop store managers and general managers for career progression, manage annual reviews, participate in hiring decisions, and identify opportunities to maintain high retention. Additionally, they will approve schedules, manage budgets, and ensure the salesfloor follows visual guidelines and creates floorset placement maps to drive sales. The role also requires resolving operational and customer issues, and partnering with the Asset Protection team, cross-functional DMs, and teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a Retail Management role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams remotely
  • Ability to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions based on company apprehension guidelines
  • Ability to work nights, evenings, and weekends appropriate to retail business needs
  • Proven leadership experience and ability to thrive in team-based settings
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships
  • Engaging and optimistic personality with the ability to respond quickly and positively to change
  • High standards and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables effectively
