Valiant Residential is seeking a seasoned District Community Manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling to new Valiant communities to ensure their seamless operation. The District Community Manager will serve as a vital asset in revitalizing distressed properties by implementing strategic improvements. Additionally, they will manage various properties until a full-time Community Manager is hired. The ideal candidate will be a catalyst, fostering growth and improvement. Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a property manager in the multifamily industry.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and turning around underperforming properties.
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills to manage multiple projects and priorities efficiently.
  • A creative thinker with a solution-driven approach to overcoming obstacles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with team members.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to various property locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Yardi Experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property visits to assess conditions, operations, and adherence to Valiant standards.
  • Implement and oversee the first week of community onboarding for new properties, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for turning around distressed properties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design creative and effective solutions to operational challenges.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and documentation of property conditions, progress, and action plans.
  • Continuously monitor property performance and recommend adjustments to strategies as necessary.
  • Facilitate regular communication with senior management on the status of properties and projects.
