About The Position

The Distribution Technician I follows approved work instructions and training requirements for C6 MCOT Monitor software upgrades. The role prepares supported monitors for software updates, assists with update and service steps, verifies normal operation afterward, and escalates issues to the Manager/Supervisor or designated Distribution personnel. The technician handles devices carefully and follows local documentation and record-control procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma or vocational education.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Follow approved work instructions and training requirements for C6 MCOT Monitor software upgrades.
Prepare monitors for software updates by confirming power, connection to the appropriate Wi-Fi network, and sufficient battery level.
Access ConfigApp and supported device settings as instructed to initiate or support the update process.
Assist with automatic update checks, service mode entry, configuration updates, video checks, monitor data purging, and MonitorApp launch steps according to the process.
Perform model-specific update steps for supported devices, including Samsung Galaxy A10e, Samsung Galaxy A13, or similar supported monitors.
Respond appropriately to update prompts, permission screens, retry messages, and required settings changes.
Verify that monitors return to normal operation after software updates or service processes.
Escalate device, network, software, passcode, settings, or update issues to the Manager/Supervisor or designated Distribution personnel.
Handle devices carefully to prevent damage, data concerns, or process deviations.
Follow local documentation practices and applicable record-control procedures to support record retention requirements.
