About The Position

The Distribution Tech handles customer order fulfillment and related product distribution activities at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping orders; operating powered industrial equipment to pick and put away parts; and using picklists, RF devices, and computers to process orders accurately, including attention to serial and lot numbers and consolidating large orders. The role is part of the Operations team, is based on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana, and reports to the Shipping Supervisor.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalency.
At least 2 years of shipping/receiving experience.
Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
Ability to lift 45 pounds without mechanical or lift assistance.
Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle, RF scanning devices, and forklifts.
Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Experience tracking stock with barcode scanners and RF devices.
Understanding of workplace safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
Operate powered industrial equipment to pick and put away parts.
Read picklists and pick orders, using RF devices and computers while accurately handling serial and lot numbers.
Consolidate large orders.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scan guns to safely load and unload trailers or move stock.
Prepare bills of lading; verify receipts; pick, pack, weigh, and stage customer orders to meet daily productivity standards.
Track and replenish stock items, update the Oracle warehouse management system, and manage inventory.
