About The Position

As Distribution Supervisor, your primary purpose is to facilitate route deliveries in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining customer satisfaction and retail quality. You will supervise a group of employee-associates and ensure quality performance in all aspects of retail standards.

CDL Class A required

The ability to understand and execute matters affecting the economic and corporate goodwill of the company is required
Computer skills
Meet the following insurance and alcohol board criteria (required):
Aged 21 years or older
Verifiable CDL driving experience
No felonies within the past five years
No alcohol or controlled substance related offenses within the past two years
No theft within the past two years
No more than one reckless driving charge within the past three years

Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead assigned employees toward proper execution of the delivery process.
Supervise, train and assist employees in skills development.
Manage fleet assets and assign vehicles according to company guidelines.
Execute and drive accountability with all company, quality, and safety policies.
Ensure proper execution of stock rotation and merchandising at retail.
Enforce “Quality Assurance Policy” and other related company guidelines toward proper execution at retail.
Perform or be available to assist in performing Quality Assurance audits monthly or as specified by parent company requirements.
Use results for employee reinforcement or correction to achieve desired results.
Perform or be available to assist in performing Route Driver Certification for incumbent candidates.
Support the Distribution Manager by performing orientation and training for newly hired employees.
Support the Distribution Manager in conducting team meetings according to company guidelines.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance, abiding by company policy.
Drive your vehicle safely and with courtesy, obeying all laws, DOT requirements and company policies.
Report vehicle damage and required maintenance to management.
Keep vehicle neat and clean at all times.
Maintain office and files according to management guidelines.
Attend meetings as required.
Obey company policies and company safety policies.
Perform other related duties as instructed by management.
