Our crop protection site located in Valdosta, GA has an exciting opportunity for a Distribution Specialist to join our team. Job Overview: Helps coordinate the efficient movement, storage, and delivery of products at the Corteva Agriscience Valdosta, GA facility. Ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution to meet organizational and customer needs.

Requirements

  • High School/GED or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in a distribution center or logistics environment
  • Proficiency in inventory management software, SAP systems, and Microsoft Office is valuable.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating multiple tasks and teams.
  • Have a current, valid, United States driver's license.
  • Pass a drug screen, background history, and other relevant screens if job offer is received and accepted.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Work a rotating shift and/or overtime.
  • Ability to be regularly medically approved and fit tested for respirator use.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Obtain necessary certifications as needed.
  • Work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the distribution of products from manufacturing and storage facilities to customers or other business locations.
  • Conducting inventories of incoming goods, tracking stock levels, and performing cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Reviewing open order reports and executing distribution plans using SAP system.
  • Consolidating shipments, coordinating with freight forwarders, and managing transportation to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records, completing paperwork for returns, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards such as DOT, IATA, IMDG.
  • Developing positive relationships with clients, coordinating with commercial teams, and resolving distribution issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
