About The Position

Payentry is hiring a Distribution Specialist for its payroll team at the Grand Rapids, Michigan branch. This onsite role is responsible for preparing payroll packages and envelopes and shipping them to clients efficiently and accurately. The specialist also handles shipping and receiving of documents, packages, and other client-related shipments; provides customer support by email and phone as needed; and supports other branch departments with data entry and related tasks. The role reports or escalates potential issues affecting clients or shipments, assists Branch Management with day-to-day branch tasks, and provides excellent customer service. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and requires commuting to the branch.

Requirements

• Ability to meet pickup and shipment windows.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle and prepare payroll packages for clients.
• Ship and receive documents, packages, and other client-related shipments.
• Provide customer support by email and phone as needed.
• Perform data entry and provide support to other branch departments as needed.
• Report, escalate, or address potential issues affecting clients or shipments.
• Assist Branch Management with day-to-day branch tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and customers.
