This is a 2nd shift position responsible for assisting in the initial training, certification, and recertification of all full-time, new hire, and contingent workers in the proper procedures for all Distribution Specialist positions within the Distribution Center. The goal is to ensure order and inventory accuracy standards are met and maintained. The role involves documenting findings, providing feedback to the area Coach, and contributing input regarding new hire performance for employment retention decisions. The trainer must stay current on all process changes in Shipping, Picking, and Receiving, and assist in gathering information and auditing written training documentation (SOP) for accuracy, including annual audits or as process improvements are made. The position also requires supporting and participating in facility programs such as Quality Audit, PFP, IQ Club, Housekeeping, Hazard Hunter, and Safety, while supporting facility metrics like Inventory Accuracy, Order Accuracy, LPH, CPH, Quality, and Safety. A flexible schedule is required when training associates across shifts. The trainer will communicate associate concerns and suggestions to Management and encourage associate engagement in the facility's operation. All duties must be performed in accordance with company policy and procedures, and as assigned by the supervisor.
