About The Position

This role is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of powered industrial trucks and/or pallet jacks, ensuring accurate order picking, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The Distribution Specialist II will also be responsible for completing daily operational checklists, reporting mechanical issues, and adhering to all safety guidelines and OSHA standards.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in the operation of an Powered Industrial Truck and/or pallet jack according to operating standards.
  • Ability to follow all safety guidelines for safe operations of PIT and wear proper PPE while driving PIT.
  • Ability to complete daily operational checklist and report all mechanical issues to your supervisor or maintenance.
  • Ability to efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is selected from the correct location.
  • Ability to report all picking and/or rewarehouse inconsistencies to the department supervisor.
  • Ability to accurately conduct location counts.
  • Must maintain a minimum of 95% or higher productivity rate.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, neat, orderly assigned work area.
  • Compliance with all OSHA standards and facility safety rules.
  • Conduct behavior that reflects a safe working attitude at all times.
