About The Position

As a Releasing Clerk, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing and timely shipment of customer orders. Your responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders to guarantee product availability, analyzing order discrepancies, and maintaining communication channels to address issues impacting order fulfillment.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft programs and Oracle systems; Excel proficiency preferred.
Ability to perform 10-key by touch and basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in inventory control processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped complete and on time.
Make decisions on appropriate actions for customer orders based on individual requirements, using a logical and commonsense approach.
Maintain a working knowledge of manufacturing and distribution operations.
Monitor orders from booking through closure, ensuring compliance with customers' on-time performance standards.
Release orders to select staff in accordance with the wave plan, while adhering to pick capacity guidelines.
Liaise with Receiving, Inventory, and Replenishment teams to ensure adequate inventory availability for order release.
Communicate effectively with Marketing, Manufacturing, and Distribution teams regarding out-of-stock items, discontinued products, and special requirements.
Promptly escalate any issues or concerns regarding potential delays in order shipment to the appropriate personnel.
