About The Position

This role is with a Fortune Global 500 organization that is a leading provider of transportation and logistics services. The Global Logistics and Distribution business unit offers comprehensive logistics services and warehousing solutions, utilizing a global network, innovative technology, and supply chain expertise. The Training Specialist will be responsible for daily onboarding, software access requests, and ground training. While PITO certifications are not required, the Training Specialist will be expected to become certified to operate equipment. This role manages the delivery or deployment of contracted services to customers to ensure that SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded. It involves supporting business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and other internal support groups. The position is responsible for daily facility activities including government compliance, inbound receipts, kitting, order processing, supplier procurement, inventory management, staffing, facility inspections, employee engagement, development, safety, security, and profitability. The role also involves retaining and strengthening vendor relationships through face-to-face interactions. The analyst will identify and recommend opportunities for improving operational efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities. Support may be provided to field stocking locations (FSL) and agent locations across multiple geographies, as well as the provider network. The role requires specific functional expertise that is theoretical and conceptual, typically acquired through university education and field experience. There may be responsibility for supervising others as a "player coach," but the primary focus is individual expertise. The analyst will apply working knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within their discipline, broadening their capabilities and understanding of company processes and customers. Most assignments will be routine, with common issues resolved by using precedents or seeking guidance. The analyst will assess straightforward problems and propose solutions based on analysis of factual information, experience, judgment, and precedents. This role impacts the quality of one's own work and the work of others on the team, and involves sharing factual information with team members.

Requirements

  • At least a year of experience in Warehousing Shipping & Receiving
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
