Distribution Engineering Specialist II
About The Position
The Engineering Specialist II is responsible for applying intermediate engineering principles to produce accurate and precise calculations and design deliverables. This role requires knowledge of transmission and distribution materials associated with basic and intermediate project designs. The specialist will utilize design software to create designs compliant with all codes and client standards, perform material selection and takeoffs, and review project specifications, requirements, and standards. Collaboration with the Design Team is essential to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and that design intent is transferred to the design drawings. The role also emphasizes establishing, promoting, and assuring quality on all projects and work performed, providing quality workmanship, and supporting a safety culture within the group by demonstrating safe work practices. The position may also provide technical oversight on basic project tasks.
