Distribution Engineering Specialist I
About The Position
The Engineering Specialist I is responsible for collaboration with the Design Team to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time. This role applies intermediate engineering principles to produce accurate and precise calculations and design deliverables. The specialist will utilize design software to create designs compliant with all codes and client standards, and perform material selection and takeoffs for basic and intermediate project designs. This position requires a review and understanding of project specifications, requirements, and standards, and coordination with other team members to ensure design intent is transferred to the design drawings. The role also establishes, promotes, and assures quality on all projects and work performed, provides quality workmanship, and supports a safety culture within the group, demonstrating safe work practices. May provide technical oversight on basic project tasks.
