About The Position

The Distribution Driver Class B delivers products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations. The role includes inspecting, preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning the vehicle while following Southern Glazer’s and Department of Transportation safety guidelines. Drivers review standing orders, develop sales, process payments, and maintain records. The position involves local deliveries on a four-day schedule, Tuesday through Friday, with employees home every night.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience.
Class B Commercial Driver's License.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to bars, restaurants, hotels, and other customer locations.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Receive payment for delivered goods.
Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery.
Operate the delivery vehicle safely and courteously, and follow traffic laws.
Check in money and returned goods daily with the Driver Check-in & Accounting Cashier.
Complete required daily paperwork, including the DOT logbook and driver vehicle inspection report (DVIR).
Follow company uniform standards.
Follow safety regulations and perform duties safely.
Plan trip logistics and obtain documents needed to transport goods.
Load and unload cargo using required safety equipment.
Secure cargo in compliance with safety requirements.
Report incidents to the dispatcher.
Keep the vehicle, product, and equipment tidy and in good working order.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
