This role is responsible for engineering support to Field Engineering Design for any customer additions that require a substantial change to the distribution system. They plan system improvements in-line with customer needs and engineer circuit changes to improve performance for assigned circuits. The engineer reviews daily interruption reports, analyzes projected circuit deficiencies (e.g., voltage, overloads, etc.) for assigned circuits, and develops alternatives to improve circuit reliability. They recommend equipment replacement versus repair to maximize Return on Asset (ROA) and participate during major restoration efforts, including Emergency Preparedness.
