About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Distribution Customer Service Representative to support daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for processing customer orders, coordinating shipments, communicating with vendors and carriers, and ensuring excellent service for customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working within multiple vendor portals.

Requirements

  • Previous customer service, logistics, transportation, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Experience working with retailer portals such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, or similar systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Route and manage shipments through vendor portals including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, and other customer systems.
  • Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers primarily through email.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding orders, shipments, inventory, and invoices.
  • Coordinate expedited and special shipping requests with warehouse and operations teams.
  • Monitor product availability and generate stock reports.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and provide shipment tracking information.
  • Verify invoices and ensure accurate account billing.
  • Maintain damage reports and backorder records.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, warehouse operations, and internal departments.
  • Maintain files, records, and account procedures to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Escalate customer concerns and communicate feedback to management.
