About The Position

Under general direction of the designated manager, the Distribution Center (DC) Trainer organizes and delivers training and provides support for various Human Resources and Operations initiatives. This position supports a variety of training and development initiatives within the local facility in order to contribute to an effective training and development process.

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year directly related experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and conducts training programs and workshops for Cencora associates in the distribution center; delivers training based on existing facilitator's guide.
  • Reviews and evaluates existing programs; makes recommendations for appropriate modifications.
  • Analyzes performance and feedback results and makes recommendations for adjustments to training and presentation materials.
  • Prepares and distributes training aids such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations.
  • Administers and evaluates training program qualification tests and determines eligibility of prospective attendees.
  • Responsible for performing scheduled training and preparing the physical setup.
  • Self-motivated to deliver results while proactively identifies training needs, builds and delivers learning solutions, and ensures timely completion of commitments that improve performance, quality, and compliance.
  • Works closely with Operations leadership to identify process gaps and develop action plans to execute training objectives and close performance opportunities.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet distribution center objectives.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
