About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for supervising daily outbound planning, organizing, and operations of the distribution center. Oversees distribution functions, including order process, picking, packaging, and shipping.

  • Two+ years of warehouse supervisory or similar management position/distribution environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proactive thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and possess strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily outbound operations, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
  • Ensure all pharmaceutical products are shipped in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage a team of warehouse associates, including training, performance monitoring, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with inventory, customer service, and FedEx to ensure timely dispatch.
  • Proactively identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct team briefings to align staff on daily outbound targets, safety updates, and policy changes.
  • Maintain records of outbound shipments, discrepancies, and non-conformances for reporting and audits.
  • Train team members on proper handling procedures for hazardous, temperature-controlled, and controlled pharmaceuticals.
  • Monitor outbound KPIs (pulling production, order accuracy, shipping errors) and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure SOPs are followed and quality standards are met.
  • Facilitate cross-training within the outbound team to improve flexibility and coverage.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
  • Address and resolve any delays, discrepancies, or customer complaints related to outbound operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
