About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for supervising daily outbound planning, organizing, and operations of the distribution center. Oversees distribution functions, including order process, picking, packaging, and shipping.

Associate degree; or previous work equivalent.
Two+ years of warehouse supervisory or similar management position/distribution environment.
Must be proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proactive thinking, strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, attention to detail, and possess strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily outbound operations, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
Ensure all pharmaceutical products are shipped in compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage a team of warehouse associates, including training, performance monitoring, and scheduling.
Collaborate with inventory, customer service, and FedEx to ensure timely dispatch.
Proactively identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements.
Conduct team briefings to align staff on daily outbound targets, safety updates, and policy changes.
Maintain records of outbound shipments, discrepancies, and non-conformances for reporting and audits.
Train team members on proper handling procedures for hazardous, temperature-controlled, and controlled pharmaceuticals.
Monitor outbound KPIs (pulling production, order accuracy, shipping errors) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure SOPs are followed and quality standards are met.
Facilitate cross-training within the outbound team to improve flexibility and coverage.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
Address and resolve any delays, discrepancies, or customer complaints related to outbound operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
