About The Position

Perfetti Van Melle (makers of Mentos, Airheads, Dentyne, Trident and Bubblicious!) is one of the world's largest manufacturers and distributors of confectionery and chewing gum with global brands that are being enjoyed in more than 150 countries worldwide. We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Picking Clerk to join our growing team. Hours: Monday-Friday from 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. As the Picking Clerk you will work in a warehouse environment and be responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of shipping and receiving, maintaining metrics and keeping accurate records. The Receiving Clerk will work with carriers and drivers, set up appointments this includes checking in drivers, updating drivers, carriers and the logistics team. You may also work with customer service and release work to the floor as requested by the lead /supervisor, and will provide data and turnover information to the oncoming shifts.

Requirements

Prior forklift experience REQUIRED
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
Excellent time management skills
Ability to stand, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and on-going projects
Flexibility and able to manage change with a positive attitude
Time management skills to stay on track with fulfilling orders
