Distribution Center data clerk- 18 months Contract
About The Position
TJX Canada is seeking a Data Clerk to play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely entry of critical information into core computer systems. This role supports essential Distribution Centre functions, including the Data Centre, Receiving/Shipping, and DC Supplies, contributing directly to the efficiency of the day-to-day workflow. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy to drive team success. Requirements
- Minimum OSSD Grade 12 (or equivalent)
- 1+ year of data entry experience
- Strong administrative, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to problem-solve effectively.
- Accurate and efficient keyboarding skills (including SCAN data entry)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to varied hours, and support cross-functional teams.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Data Centre and Receiving operations within Distribution Services is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and verify workflow across all Data Centre functions while maintaining timely, effective communication with internal and external partners.
- Respond to inquiries within 24 hours, escalating relevant information to appropriate stakeholders.
- Accurately enter, manage, print, and distribute information from internal and external sources into WMI systems.
- Create and maintain system logs, reports, tickets, labels, and required management spreadsheets, ensuring proper distribution.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on Data Centre equipment and support cross-functional activities as needed.
