About The Position

The Distribution Center Associate II provides support to FleetPride branches by expediting parts for delivery to branches and customers. The role involves pulling, organizing, handling, stocking, weighing, and inspecting warehouse inventory, while maintaining clean and safe storage areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control, and stock replenishment.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.
• Ability to lift or carry parts weighing over 60 pounds up to 15% of the time; most lifting and carrying involves parts weighing between 5 and 60 pounds.
• OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from the warehouse by part number and quantity, following picking tickets and assigned priorities.
• Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
