About The Position

FleetPride is the largest after-market distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts in the U.S. The Distribution Center Associate II supports FleetPride branches by expediting parts for delivery to branches and customers. The role involves picking, organizing, handling, stocking, weighing, and inspecting materials, as well as maintaining warehouse supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalence certificate.
• At least 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control, and stock replenishment.
• Forklift and reach truck experience.
• Ability to lift or carry parts over 60 pounds up to 15% of the time, with most lifting and carrying involving parts weighing between 5 and 60 pounds.
• OSHA-approved steel-toed safety shoes are required from the first day on the job.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize branch and customer orders for warehouse delivery by part number and quantity according to picking tickets and assigned priority.
• Manually load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage to supervisors.
