About The Position

This role involves the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders. Responsibilities include restocking shelves, preparing shipping documents, and packaging parts. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and using various computer systems to track shipments and inventory changes. Safety and maintaining a clean work area are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

High School diploma/GED or equivalent strongly preferred; equivalent combination of education and work history acceptable.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and apply math skills to solve problems.
Attention to detail is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
Restock shelves.
Pack small parts into boxes and bags for stocking/shipping.
Prepare various shipping documents.
Move or expedite material to proper departments or place in temporary area.
Package individual parts and make various parts kits from multi sources.
Operate/use manual and/or powered material handling and packaging equipment as required.
Perform daily cycle counts to ensure required inventory levels and accuracy.
Operate UPS computer shipping system to ship and/or track packages.
Operate Carlisle’s “in house” computer system (ROI) to enter and report inventory changes and completed shipments.
Package parts in appropriate bag using the packing machines.
Produce labels and affix to accompanying bags/containers.
Maintain accurate production records.
Accurately complete and process all applicable/required Carlisle documents, and match received goods with packing lists.
Participate in replenishment cycle of stock levels.
Maintain safe, clean and orderly work area(s) and perform housekeeping duties.
Move materials of various sizes, weights and configurations using required safety techniques and mechanical assisting devices.
Perform other related responsibilities as needed and as assigned.
