Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with investment management industry and funds administration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field is ideal, however we will consider a mix of academic and relevant practical experience
  • Experience in the investment management industry
  • Proactive, self-reliant, thorough, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail, strong analytic ability
  • Ability to manage priority requests and work under pressure
  • Intermediate-level Excel skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory (for positions in Quebec)
  • Working English proficiency is also required

Responsibilities

  • Update APX and client portal for new/closed accounts and contacts
  • Quarterly invoice review
  • Executive reporting
  • Create client presentations (entry level)
  • Advisory channel support: Enter leads (Stage 0 Opportunities) into Salesforce for Advisory Channel, Check custodian interfaces for advisor channel activity (pull down/save reports), Advisory sales tracking (pull down/save reports)
  • Work with sales associates to assist in ongoing CRM maintenance
  • Validate and track client cash flows
  • Provide professional front desk presence and premium service
  • Intraday conference room and pantry maintenance
  • Process mail and packages
  • Receive and put out meals for special events as needed
  • Receive and stock weekly coffee, fruit, dairy product deliveries
  • Provide weekly inventory of office supplies to Office Management team
  • Work with custodians and clients on tax reporting, LOAs, cash requests; countersignatures, filing and secure digital storage.
  • Print and distribute monthly and quarterly reports via mail and ShareFile
  • Deposit checks
