About The Position

This position is responsible for learning all aspects of the Tyson Warehousing Group, which will also include gaining knowledge of Tyson Transportation Outside Transportation and Outside Warehousing. This position may require the holder to work various shifts during the training phase in order to learn additional facets of the operations. Specific responsibilities include ensuring an entrepreneurial ownership in the area of direct responsibility, working with all location support departments (Maintenance, HR, Inventory Control, etc.) to ensure coordinated, efficient production of a quality product to meet our company's commitments. Other responsibilities include administrative duties such as attending to the maintenance of Team Member time cards, calendars, and benefit needs, educating Team Members, and communicating with the Team Members to promote high morale and productivity. Other duties include promoting a safe working environment, helping the location management team whenever called upon to do so, which may involve performing a supervisor's duties in their absence, and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.

Requirements

Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a two or four year degree program
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work well with others
Resume required to be considered for this role
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
