About The Position

Performs diversified receiving, storing, and distribution duties to support warehouse operational needs. Maintains records of inventory received and issued. The role includes verifying and inspecting deliveries, processing paperwork and system entries, unloading and storing goods, filling and packing requests, and loading items for delivery. It also operates material-handling equipment and maintains established operating standards and a clean, safe work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing more than 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods.
Ability to understand simple mathematics and inventory flow.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions received through written orders, electronic displays, and/or audio devices.

Nice To Haves

Prior related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Verify warehouse deliveries against purchase orders and inspect items for damage or defects.
Complete receiving paperwork and enter information into the department computer system.
Unload and unpack deliveries, then transport and store items in appropriate warehouse locations.
Fill pick-list requests for warehouse items.
Prepare and pack items for delivery using packing materials and transport units according to established policies and procedures.
Load requisitioned items onto delivery vehicles for transport to various sites.
Complete distribution paperwork and enter information into the department computer system.
Operate motorized and manual material-handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
Meet established receiving and distribution standards of operation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to established policies and procedures.
Perform related duties as required.
