About The Position

The Distribution Administrator (Hours of Service Log Clerk) monitors motor carrier compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Part 395. The role tracks, coaches, and audits drivers’ Records of Duty Status to ensure compliance with federal regulations and company guidelines. The position provides service to drivers, reviews electronic logging data, and works with multiple departments. A resume is required to be considered. Travel is not required, and the position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of office experience.
• Basic computer skills, such as generating simple letters and spreadsheets and creating simple queries.
• Working knowledge of TDC/WMS.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to access and manage data through spreadsheets and dashboards.
• Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulation Part 395.
• One year of experience in the transportation field.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers by phone and email.
• Identify concerns and determine appropriate actions.
• Navigate Electronic Logging Device dashboards and run daily reports.
• Audit reports for hours of service, yard moves, personal conveyance, and unassigned driving events.
• Coach and train office team members, current drivers, and new drivers on log compliance.
• Communicate and collaborate with multiple departments.
