About The Position

The Information Services Program is currently seeking a qualified Identity and Access Management professional to join the System Administrator Team as a Distributed Computer Systems Analyst. This role supports the Department of Revenue's identity, access, and privileged access management functions, with emphasis on secure account administration, access governance, lifecycle support, and protection of privileged credentials. The selected candidate will assist with user access provisioning, modification, review, and removal across enterprise systems while supporting least privilege, role-based access control, and audit readiness. Responsibilities include working with technical teams, system owners, and business partners to validate access needs, document access decisions, support remediation of access-related findings, and ensure identity processes align with security policies, compliance requirements, and operational procedures. The position requires a strong technical foundation in Windows administration, Active Directory, enterprise access controls, and cybersecurity practices. Exposure to CyberArk or similar privileged access management tools is highly desirable, including an understanding of credential vaulting, privileged account controls, session monitoring, access request workflows, and the risks associated with unmanaged administrative access. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; the ability to support access reviews and audit requests; and a working understanding of identity lifecycle management, onboarding, offboarding, role changes, privileged access, and separation of duties. This position is well suited for a technically capable professional who understands that identity and access management is a core cybersecurity function and who can help strengthen the Department's access control posture across a complex enterprise environment.
