Dispensing Nurse - Per Diem - LPN or RN
About The Position
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a Dispensing Nurse to provide quality, sufficient, and appropriate clinical services in a welcoming and healing environment. BCCS is a community organization dedicated to helping individuals recover with dignity through education, advocacy, prevention, early intervention, and treatment services for substance abuse and behavioral health. The Dispensing Nurse will primarily be involved in dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment, assisting with the intake process, participating in treatment planning meetings, following up on medical referrals, and facilitating detox entry.
Requirements
- Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing methadone, a medication for treating opiate addiction.
- Assisting with the Intake process.
- Participating in treatment planning meetings.
- Following up on all medical referrals and recording actions.
- Facilitating detox entry with proper referral.
