Dispensing Nurse - Per Diem - LPN or RN
About The Position
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a Dispensing Nurse to provide quality clinical services in a welcoming and healing environment. The role involves dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment, assisting with the intake process, participating in treatment planning meetings, and following up on medical referrals. BCCS is a community organization dedicated to helping individuals recover with dignity through education, advocacy, prevention, early intervention, and treatment services for mental illness, substance abuse, HIV, and related challenges.
Requirements
- Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment.
- Assisting with the Intake process.
- Participating in treatment planning meetings.
- Following up on all medical referrals and recording actions.
- Facilitating detox entry with proper referral.
