About The Position
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a Full Time Dispensing Nurse (RN or LPN) to support both their Milford and Georgetown sites. BCCS has been a trusted provider of substance abuse and behavioral health treatment since 1985, focusing on helping community members recover with dignity. The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient, and appropriate clinical services while maintaining high professional standards. This role primarily involves dispensing methadone, assisting with the intake process, participating in treatment planning meetings, following up on medical referrals, and facilitating detox entry.
Requirements
- Currently licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware
Responsibilities
- Be primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.
- Assists with Intake process
- Participates in treatment planning meetings.
- Follows-up on all medical referrals and records actions
- Facilitates detox entry with proper referral
