Dispensing Nurse - Per Diem - LPN or RN
About The Position
Brandywine Counseling & Community Services, Inc. (BCCS) is seeking a Dispensing Nurse to provide quality clinical services in a welcoming and healing environment. The Dispensing Nurse will be primarily involved in dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment, assisting with the intake process, participating in treatment planning meetings, following up on medical referrals, and facilitating detox entry. BCCS is a community organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV, and related challenges through education, advocacy, prevention, early intervention, and treatment services.
Requirements
- Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware.
Responsibilities
- Dispensing methadone for opiate addiction treatment.
- Assisting with the Intake process.
- Participating in treatment planning meetings.
- Following up on all medical referrals and recording actions.
- Facilitating detox entry with proper referral.
