About The Position

Responsibilities

Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
Observe and report significant changes in resident behavior or health to the Resident Care Director, physician, family, Resident Care Assistants, and Executive Director, in accordance with state regulations.
Direct and supervise the daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
Mentor, guide, and direct Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
Coordinate care needs with community providers through an effective case management process.
Balance service demands with support for resident independence.
Recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and report concerns to appropriate sources per state regulations.
Respond to emergencies and personal emergency response system alerts, and know when to call for backup.
