About The Position

The Dispatcher coordinates delivery logistics among management, sales, and the yard. The role groups and routes deliveries according to designated geographic areas and assists with building loads and freight handling as needed. The position is located at 102 E 50th St., Lubbock, TX 79404, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $16.50 per hour, depending on experience, plus bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Call clients to confirm details and serve as liaison between sales and crews.
• Coordinate delivery times and total hours for load building, checking, and staging.
• Schedule routing of area and market delivery equipment to reduce delivery expense and increase efficiency.
• Prepare delivery analyses to improve delivery efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all deliveries.
• Use companywide systems, including Invoicing, POS, and Inventory.
• Group and route deliveries according to designated geographic areas.
• Assist with building loads and freight handling as necessary.
