About The Position

Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is growing and we are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our North Bay operations team. Bellows services customers throughout the entire San Francisco Bay Area. This position is based out of our Novato branch and supports service operations across Marin, Sonoma, Napa and San Francisco counties. This is an important role within our company. We are looking for someone who can manage a busy service schedule, keep technicians moving efficiently, and ensure our customers receive excellent service. The Dispatcher acts as the central point of coordination between technicians in the field, customers, and the operations team. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized under pressure, and can manage the constant movement and changes that come with a busy service operation. The right person will be proactive, reliable, and able to think ahead to keep the day running smoothly. Position Overview The Dispatcher works closely with our operations team to coordinate service calls and installation schedules while serving as the main communication link between technicians, customers, and management. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly as schedules and priorities change throughout the day.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years dispatching in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or residential home services
  • Experience managing multiple technicians and coordinating a high volume daily service board
  • Strong working knowledge of Service Titan including scheduling, dispatching, and job management
  • Ability to prioritize emergency calls, maintenance appointments, and installations while balancing technician availability
  • Experience communicating directly with field technicians and adjusting schedules throughout the day
  • Comfortable handling customer calls, schedule changes, and problem resolution in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written communication skills with clear and professional customer communication
  • Highly organized with the ability to track multiple jobs, permits, materials, and schedules simultaneously
  • Proficient with Google Workspace including Gmail, Sheets, and shared calendars
  • Strong numerical awareness including job numbers, materials tracking, and basic invoicing coordination
  • Ability to work closely with operations managers and technicians to keep jobs moving efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate service calls and installation work
  • Dispatch technicians and manage daily service schedules

  • Order materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
  • Assist with construction permit applications
  • Support daily operational and administrative tasks
