About The Position

Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, focused on the execution of our strategy to “Expand Beyond” our core business. As a part of Nucor’s New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. The current production facility is in West Hazleton, PA, with greenfield sites going up in Decatur, AL and Crawfordsville, IN. This position will be responsible for refining processes and procedures to support Transportation development as well as reporting and analysis. The position will require coordination of deliveries to meet customer requirements. This position will serve as the Crawfordsville business unit subject matter expert for the implementation of a new ERP, support the ongoing maximization of ERP functionality, take on ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects, and serve as a strategic Transportation support for our business. The position will ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations as well as company guidelines regarding the dispatching and scheduling of transportation needs for inbound and outbound loads. The candidate must be well organized and able to work both independently and as a team. Candidate must be able to collaborate with other teammates and leaders to prioritize load builds, load forecasting by day-week-month, load tracking, section tracking, small parts tracking & POD reconciliation. Must be capable of managing multiple projects at once. Strong communication skills are needed to lead and develop carrier relationships to execute the site plan. NTS builds transmission towers that are critical for Americas future infrastructure. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

Effective communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
Experience with utilizing ERP systems for scheduling, reporting and data analysis
