About The Position

Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS) is a new entity within Nucor, the largest recycler and largest manufacturer of steel and steel products in North America, focused on the execution of our strategy to “Expand Beyond” our core business. As a part of Nucor’s New Markets product group, NTS is focused on the exciting growth potential in the power distribution market. Current production facilities are in West Hazleton, PA, Decatur, AL, Crawfordsville, IN and Brigham City, UT with plans to build a national footprint.

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst to join our team. The role will be located on-site at our NTS production facility in Brigham City, Utah.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication capabilities to help drive impactful solutions in our production environment. This position is critical for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of solutions and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Experience may be considered.
• 2 years of ERP experience in a production environment.
• Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience working with Dynamics 365 (D365) in a business analyst role.
• Experience working in a production environment.
• Prior exposure to the steel industry or manufacturing sector is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 (D365) to support business operations, resolve issues, and optimize system functionality.
• Collaborate with the on-site operations team to deliver effective front-end D365 support.
• Operate as on-site subject matter expert for D365 processes including production, quality, asset management, master planning, shipping and receiving, and inventory management.
• Work closely with teams to streamline processes and ensure high efficiency.
• Analyze production workflows and recommend solutions to improve scheduling, resource allocation, and overall productivity.
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and operations.
• Identify gaps and opportunities in existing systems to optimize operations and enhance business performance.
• Ability to travel to other NTS sites as needed.
• demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
