The Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring work is dispatched in a timely and efficient manner to all Technicians, to ensure shop productivity is at optimal levels. Requirements

  • Ability to maintain records and prepare reports using a computerized equipment maintenance system.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information, in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
  • A valid British Columbia driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Basic technical knowledge of vehicles to determine proper job allocation.
  • Ability to work effectively against deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • To champion OpenRoad’s Climate Goals.
  • Dispatch work to the service technicians in order to maximize shop production and efficiency.
  • Coordinate the work flow through the detail department.
  • Open, dispatch, and invoice new car PDI work orders.
  • Assist Service Advisors with invoicing.
  • Handle customers inquiries promptly and accurately, listen to vehicle concerns and write repair orders.
  • Work to improve dealership CSI and general customer satisfaction in accordance with OpenRoad’s philosophies, policies and procedures.
  • Must follow company safety policies and practices, and immediately, report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
  • This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.
