About The Position
This position is responsible for receiving live haul loaded trucks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. o Operating scale for live haul drivers. o Running M-tech operating system o Track trailer arrival times and run times o Work with truck drivers and yard drivers to ensure proper weights are taken and on time while maintaining compliance with weight limits. o Ensure that proper equipment is working correctly on the yard to ensure we are following Tyson Animal Welfare program. Weigh live haul trucks and compute scale tickets. Coordinate on scale house reports with live dock. This position is also responsible for the proper documentation of load sheets, answering phone calls from managers and growers, and documenting information accurately for recordkeeping. This position is also responsible for keeping office area clean, adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills are necessary for the job
- Maintain good attendance.
- Ability to read, write and understand simple math.
- Communicate to all levels of operations within the department.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and weekends when needed.
- Must have good communication and personal relations skills.
- Must be willing and able to make decisions based on current situations and prioritization.
