About The Position

The Dispatcher oversees and coordinates driver activities by updating websites and monitoring route timeliness. The role requires professional communication with suppliers, customers, drivers, internal departments, and terminal locations. This is an on-site, full-time third-shift position at 13520 Mercury Drive in Laredo, Texas, scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 11 PM to 8 AM, with overtime as needed. The position reports to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email.
• Ability to learn new programs as necessary.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work some weekend shifts when requested by the customer.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Organized, responsible, and dependable.

Nice To Haves

• Prior dispatch, route management, and dispatching experience.
• Working knowledge of logistics and manufacturing.
• Knowledge of TMW software.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace drivers, tractors, and shipments to support on-time delivery.
• Manage drivers according to current company policies and procedures.
• Dispatch drivers to and from the facility and manage driver routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and internal and external customers.
• Update websites and monitor route timeliness.
