About The Position

The Dispatch Supervisor facilitates DirectShip operations (e.g., load planning, coordination of services with UPS Small Package operations and systems, customer relationship management, accounts payable and receivable activities, etc.). He/She supervises load planning (e.g., volume and load projections, carrier capacity commitments, booking, equipment repositioning, etc.), load forecasting, tracking, and reporting (e.g., preparing daily tracking reports and ongoing performance reports by customers, etc.). The Dispatch Supervisor anticipates and responds to customers’ needs, requests, and issues. This position works closely with contingent resources supporting dock operations in a non-supervisory capacity, with no direct reports or people management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
