About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and responding to calls and/or alarms, coordinating and dispatching staff, monitoring activities via surveillance systems, and initiating communication for additional support when necessary. The position may also involve hiring, training, supervision, and performance appraisals of security shift employees.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Manage and respond to calls and/or alarms and initiate immediate response.
Coordinate and/or dispatch staff in response to requests for service.
Retrieve recorded documentation as required.
Monitor the activities of persons on the premises by way of surveillance systems and communications.
Initiate communication with team leader/manager when additional staffing support is necessary and assist with resolution of those issues.
May be responsible and accountable for hiring, training, supervision and performance appraisals of security shift employees.
