About The Position

Router/Dispatcher Behind every school bus or van driver, there is a talented dispatcher who is making a difference by ensuring schedules and routes are effective and coordinating continuous communication between the Company, drivers, parents and the school district. This is a critical role to successfully transporting our kids! Working as a Dispatcher with Krise Transportation, you will be recognized as a crucial member of the team that forms the essential link between students and schools. Requirements

  • Must be able to engage and communicate clearly and respectfully with others
  • Must be able to calmly / tactfully handle difficult customers and situations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in student transportation or more than one year of experience in a similar role in other transportation operations
  • Proficient with the use of computers and software programs
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Passenger, School Bus and Air Brake Endorsements (training provided if needed)
  • Satisfactory driving history based on review of state motor vehicle records
  • Satisfactory criminal history and child abuse history checks as required by law and the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Passing an initial and routine annual school bus driver physical w/ tuberculosis testing as required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
  • Participate in and pass pre-employment and on-going random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment
