About The Position

1 Tom Plumber is a professional, service-focused, emergency drain clearing, plumbing maintenance company providing services to both commercial and residential properties. The Dispatcher/Customer Service position provides fast and friendly client service to both internal and external clients. They manage day-to-day workflow efficiently while providing best in class service to our clients. Additionally, the position supports general office duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Client/Customer Service.
  • Ability to satisfactorily resolve client concerns.
  • Competency of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency to complete tasks.
  • Able to work gracefully under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
  • High School diploma.
  • Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Answer client calls; provide responses and feedback to clients regarding service queries.
  • Monitor and schedule work orders for commercial clients.
  • Schedule jobs for technicians.
  • Primary contact for field technicians calling in for assistance.
  • Make outbound calls to clients to schedule appointments.
  • Manage client concerns and work to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
  • Enter client data into software.
  • Handle office tasks such as maintaining supplies, compiling data, creating client thank-you notes, assisting with marketing/sales efforts, and general office admin duties as assigned.
  • Afterhours/weekend phone support part of each month with incentive/bonus pay.
