About The Position

CoolSys is hiring a Dispatcher 1 to coordinate service calls and technician dispatch. The dispatcher prioritizes incoming and backlogged calls, works with Service Managers to address open calls and ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule, and communicates proactively with customers about missed service-level agreements. The role also involves responding to inquiries, preparing and distributing reports, reviewing incomplete calls daily, maintaining entry and verification of the nightly on-call crew, and understanding the market’s geography and technicians.

CoolSys provides refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, engineering, and energy-management services to more than 45,000 customer locations. The company has over 3,700 associates nationwide and is made up of 27 companies in its family of brands. The stated pay range is $25.00–$30.00.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize incoming calls and backlog.
• Assign and dispatch technicians.
• Work with Service Managers to address open calls.
• Respond to inquiries.
• Create and distribute required reporting.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding missed SLAs.
• Review all incomplete calls daily.
• Maintain entry and verify the nightly on-call crew.
• Work with Service Managers to ensure preventative maintenance is completed on schedule.
• Understand the geography of the market and the technicians.
