Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3+ years of warehouse operations experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership or dispatch supervision experience.
  • Experience in frozen or temperature-controlled warehouse environments required.
  • Working knowledge of shipping processes and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily outbound and dispatch operations including dock activity, staging, and trailer loading.
  • Lead and mentor team members through active floor presence and engagement.
  • Assign work, monitor productivity, and ensure shipping deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate dock scheduling and transportation movements (inbound/outbound).
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and internal departments.
  • Verify product, quantities, documentation, and load accuracy.
  • Ensure all loads meet temperature control and cold chain standards.
  • Perform outbound quality checks and resolve shipping discrepancies (misloads, shortages, damage).
  • Maintain dispatch logs, shipment records, and verification documentation.
  • Support audits, inventory checks, and compliance inspections.
  • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
  • Train and onboard new team members.
  • Manage timecards, attendance tracking, PTO approvals, and payroll accuracy.
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in daily operational meetings and provide performance updates.
  • Identify workflow improvements to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
