About The Position

Marksman Security is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as FLEX Dispatch Communications Officers. This part-time position is located at the Toyota Motor North America Headquarters in Plano, TX. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of people, assets, and operations. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, dispatching response personnel, and coordinating emergency communication. The role requires the highest level of professionalism, customer service, and excellent work ethics, as it is at a headquarters location. A $50 bonus is offered for having a Texas Guard Card at hire, redeemable after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas
  • Previous dispatch experience required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Previous security experience is required
  • Attentive to detail
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)

Nice To Haves

  • Security Operations Center Experience is Required
  • Previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
  • Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
  • Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
  • Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Provide support during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions, natural disasters).
  • Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
  • Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
  • Provide security support for various client projects and events.
  • Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.
